ENA Ltd. - Energy Analyses was founded in 1992 as a specialized consulting firm serving mainly the energy-related industry. The aim of the company is to offer highly professional services for Czech and Slovak clients and, simultaneously, to help foreign clients to enter Central and East European energy markets.

The core activities of ENA focus on gas industry. Since its foundation, ENA has been serving all Czech and Slovak gas companies. This position gives ENA a comprehensive view of the whole gas industry in the region. ENA is a member of the Czech Gas Association.

Price analyses and prognoses for energy components such as gas and oil products, electricity and coal, and relationships between them are strong aspects of ENA's expertise. Fuel prices, energy effectiveness of typical appliances and their investment and operating costs determine overall competiveness of energies. These issues are now undergoing dynamic but complex development. ENA's goal is to assist its clients in their orientation in these fields.

In evaluation of economic effectiveness of large energy investments ENA works with an internationally accepted methodology of a discounted cash flow. This method is combined with a deep knowledge of all differences in the Czech and Slovak economies as compared to other foreign countries - different taxes, discrepancy between exchange ratio and parity of the Czech currency and differences in the system of regulation. Economic evaluation is always supported by environmental assessment according to domestic environmental legislation.

Fusions and acquisitions in the energy industry attract the interest of investors and technology suppliers. ENA offers marketing studies in all fields of Czech and Slovak energy industries. ENA can assist foreign clients during bidding and negotiating processes. We can advise on the appropriate negotiating strategy, highlight areas of financial exposure, to enhance the probability of successful deal completion. ENA as a well known consulting company often cooperates with mass media. Therefore ENA can provide important support in public relations. ENA also regularly cooperates with the Association of Energy Managers and the Association of Large Energy Consumers in the Czech Republic.

Energy audits, especially audits of industrial companies, are other specialization of ENA. This activity is supported by the Czech legislation and ENA enables their clients to benefit from various forms of grants. ENA is a member of the Association of Energy Auditors.
